Eazi-Apps Platform Upgrade!

One of the really interesting aspects of being involved within the mobile app industry is the speed at which technology changes and the quest to deliver innovative products. With that being the case, our app building platform has had a significant upgrade which allows our franchisees to offer even more feature rich content to our clients.

Two of the key upgrades that we would like to highlight include changes to our “analytics” package as well as advanced “push messages”.

 

1. Analytics: the use of analytics within the app is crucial to monitoring the performance and benchmarking usage over a given period of time across platforms. For example, our new analytics suite allows franchisees as well as clients to monitor app downloads between Android and iPhone.However, that is only the tip of the iceberg as they say! We can also get up to date stats on visitor frequency and even information on which features are performing best within the app.

  • What makes this information so crucial?

 

The information contained within the analytics package can be used by the client and the franchisee to monitor and track the performance of the app. New features can be tested such as a shop or booking system, to determine how users are responding. Remedial action can also be taken if an app is underperforming. The analytics package really is a crucial element of helping the modern day small/medium sized business leverage mobile technology and respond to the changing demand of customers.

 

2. Push Messages: they allow businesses to send free messages to their customers who have downloaded the app. With the majority of customers now carrying their smartphone with them 24 hours a day, push messaging allows a business to stay in touch around the clock. For instance, our new push messages can be location based, which means businesses can select a radius around their premises and target customers who live locally or in affluent parts of their city.

Further enhancements include links back to various features within the app (e.g. a food ordering system to take advantage of a special promotion) as well as customisable graphical templates to enhance the visual look of the messages.

 

  • How does this help?

 

With push messages playing a crucial role in how businesses engage with their customers, the upgrades allow for even more flexibility and control for the modern day business owner. If a business wants to run a special promotion and target only local customers, this can be achieved through the push message upgrade.

 

In addition, a business can now also have any push message they send, directly uploaded on to their Facebook page and on Twitter, effortlessly. This all helps the business get their message across a variety of platforms to engage with customers on every level.
