Actionable ways to grow your new mobile app business on social media

Whether for work or pleasure, most of us will admit to spending a good chunk of time on social media. If you’ve recently taken up our mobile app agency business opportunity now is a great time to start thinking about how you want to scale and grow your new business. Social media, which you’re likely already familiar with, is a really useful tool and can be used in a number of different ways to get your name out there, showcase your offering and generate new business leads. Here are just a few of the tactics you can action right now to grow your new mobile app business on social media…

1. Use paid ads

The major social networks all offer advertising options, many on a pay per click basis. With organic reach declining, paid ads on networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn offer a scalable, pocket-friendly way to grow your brand. Due to the wealth of data that social networks collect about their users, a solution such as Facebook Ads also provided powerful targeting options, giving you a lot of control as to who sees your ads. This of course means you can be very precise and ensure your advert budget is being used to its full potential.

2. Post offers

You can also use your social media presence to post offers to your audience. These can be changed and tailored at will and don’t necessarily have to correspond to a price discount. You could offer a free consultation for example or assistance with devising an app marketing plan. Be creative and give your audience added value. Due to the nature of social media, these kinds of offers can be easily shared so think carefully about how you can best serve your social media community.

3. Post videos

It’s often said that video is the most shared content format on Facebook and with good reason – large tracts of text are difficult to read and retain but watching something is much easier. Humans are inherently visual creatures after all. Using videos is a creative, proven and effective way to engage your audience and grow your network. As with your offers, ensure your videos are adding value to your community. How tos, troubleshooting and frequently asked questions are strong starting points here and go a long way to building a fruitful connection with your audience. Your videos can also be used to demonstrate expertise, helping to build trust and confidence in your business before you even speak to a potential customer.
